Casuarina Hockey Club has experienced success locally and at representative level due to the commitment and expertise of our treasured coaches who have contributed to our members development since 2001. Several former Australian players and Olympic medalists are still playing for, or associated with the club, and we regularly contribute multiple players through our pathways every year to QLD teams from Under 14's right through to our most experienced Masters players. In 2023, Casuarina had 9 players playing in the National Hockey One competition for several franchises. Our pathway beyond the club is provided via Hockey Tweed or Gold Coast Hockey representation to yearly QLD age Championships. Through Savannah Fitzpatrick, Madison Fitzpatrick and Jesse Reid, we have had three former juniors who progressed through our club from Hookin2Hockey to seniors and onto representing the Australian Hockeyroos. The same pathway was trod by Nina Murphy from Hookin2Hockey through to representation for the New Zealand Black Sticks in 2025. We have a number of current Australian Futures Squad and QLD Academy of Sport (QAS) players who play for our Division One Gold Coast men's and women's teams.
Check Hockey Tweed for rep opportunities.
