History

After working with Council to establish our own Casuarina Hockey Field, The Casuarina Beach Hockey Club commenced in 2001 with 1 Minkey team (Under 7) of ten players.  The Club has grown to be the biggest on the Tweed Coast with over 20 teams and many families and siblings engaged each weekend.

 

The Club worked extremely hard to raise funds to build a clubhouse home for our Club. This was completed in 2013 with the help of the Hockey Club members and the Tweed Coast Christian Church. It was opened on a memorable day in September 2013.
